How the system affects the speed of the service at the restaurant?

We guarantee that our system will speed up the attendin to your clients. From our practice we have noticed that the work with a special POS keyboard or Touch Screen significantly raises the speed of entering of the orders in the system, and as a result of this the client enjoys better and quick service. The installing of POS printers for service printing at the Bar and the Kithcen also has an imprttant impact over the speed of the service, because the order after being entered in the system automatically distrtibutes respectively to the Bar or the Kitchen.

I am looking for a computer system for a restaurant. I found out that there are many programmes on the market. Which are the main advantages of your system?

There exist a significant difference between our programme and the similar ones found on the market. That is why we advise you first to get acquainted with the software systems provided by the others companies and after that we expect your visit in our office where we together will discuss the differencec in the possibilities and the solutions, provided by our system. Our business experience showss that most of the client that followed this example have choosen the cooperation with our company.

What technical support do you provide for your system?

We provide flexible variants of technical support to our clients. The main feature about our support is that it is available 7 days a week and 24 hours a day. The time for reaction is a subject of negotiation and depends on your needs. At some of our clients with the client's permission (for example outside Sofia and Varna) we maintain a remote support to the server of the restaurant or the hotel. In this case the visit of our specialist is not necessary.

In case if the printer in the citchen stops functioning in the rush-hour, is there any suitable solution for this problem?

Our system allows you to redirect the service printing from one printer to another in seconds, and respectively to eliminate the problem.

If suddenly the electricity stops, is it possible the system to lose valuable data?

We recommend the use of UPS, not exactly at each POS station but only at the server keeping the database. During our practice experience we have had incidents with broken databases but never witnessed any loss of information.

How long is the working life of a Touch Screen POS station?

It is important to underline that the Touch Screen POS stations we are providing are especially for functioning in hard conditions and under high work pressure. Their quality is ISO 9002 certified. We provide POS stations with aluminium corpus that are most protected from such external factors as pouring, hitting and others.

If I choose only a Touch Screen monitor, is it possible to connect it to an ordinary PC and to use this combination as a Cash Station?

Yes, this is possible with our specialist's assistance and help.

Can I check the turnover of my business by a GSM phone?

Our company is proud to supporrt the service GSM monitoring. You are welcome to visit our office where we could make a thorough demonstration of this service.

Do you offer any Internet based programmes?

We provide different applications as for hotels and for restaurants. Most of them are used for a remote control of your business. Depending on the type of the restaurant or the chain of restaurants we can offer various Internet based decisions.

How long will it take the education of my staff to work with your system?

The service staff is usually passing the basic education right before the opening of the place which is allowed by the easy and practical programme's interfase. For the managers and all higher level staff are necessary basic Windows knowledges. The standart 20 hours for the education of the restaurant and hotel programmes are completely enough for the whole command of the specificity of work with these applications. Naturally we provide additional training instructions for the system and for each of our modules.

What should be the first steps necessary for the integration of your system at a restaurant?

We advise you to start with creating of the menu in case you do not have a functioning one till the moment, a product list, partners list, calculation and technology cards of each dish from your menu. For the hotels: a list of the services provided, a list of the rooms, features of the rooms, menu of the mini-bar (if such is available), price packages, signed contracts with the tourist agencies and companies...

I would like to automate my restaurant's garden, what POS station would you recommend?

If your garden is covered, we advise you to use a standart POS station (See R - Keeper – Equipment – Workstation of the waiter). Or if the garden is open-air the best solution in this case would be the mobile computer “Pocket PC” installed with the mini-version of R - Keeper .

Can I mount more than one printer at the kitchen?

Yes, and at bigger restaurants we encourage you to do this. The service-printing is being devided and sent to different districts of the kitchen as for example: Hot Kitchen, Cold Kitchen, Barbeque and etc.

It is quite up-to-date to print the check ona special restaurant's form? What do I need for this purpose?

In order to be able to print your client's checks on a company's form of your place you should have a form-printer, for example Star Micronics SP 298 or Epson TM 295 .

What is the price of your programme?

The price of the system depends on the quantity of work places in a restaurant or a hotel, ,the type of the hardware and also the selected modules. For a detailed offer and more information we welcome you in our office.

If I do not need to buy the hardware from your company as I have alredy bought it, is it possible to combine it with your software?

That is possible. First of all we will have to examine the available hardware. In case if your hardware do not fully respond to the reqirements of our systems, we can assure you that our specialists will do their best to upgrade it with additional components in order the hardware to become compatible.

What types of Touch Screen monitors and stations can you provide?

We provide two types of Touch Screen monitors and three types of Touch Screen POS stations, which have different design and can be ordered with additional components, such as customer's display and others.

How is secured the information in the programme?

Naturally the information in the system is protected from illegal access according to the latest script technologies.

What kind of places can be automated with your system? I am interested in integrating of your software in a casino.

Which points of sale in a hotel can you automize?

All possible points of sale at the territory of the hotel, for example shops, bars, open-air gardens. The possibilities of the system in this field are unlimited.

I would like to account the working hours of mym staff? What would you recommend?

Our system for planning and accounting of the working hours of the personnel UCS Timekeeper (See - Other Programmes - Timekeeper).

Our restaurant offers delivery to our clients. Do you have similar programme solutions?

Especially for such purposes we provide the module Delivery, which will help you to organize a database with the adresses of your clients, the orders executed, and will help you to control the time for delivery. Also you will be able to use many other significant and convinient functions of this application.

How can I control the draft beer in my restaurant?

It is possible to install a sensor at the draft beer plug and with his help to carry out a detailed and full control over the draft beer sale. The system R - Keeper also supports work with coffee machines that have buit-in interface RS 232 and that allows the control over the sale of the coffee items.

How much time should a manager spare each day in order to work effectively with your system?

Not more than one hour, during which you will have to analyse the results from the previous day and to input your credit orders for the day. If you need to make corrections with the inputted data - this will take you an additional half an hour. Through the process of continues work with the programme you will gain a complete understanding of it and you will be able to easily solve and execute your daily tasks.

If I chhose your system will it affect the quality of the service?

Let's start with the fact, that our system sensibly facilitates and accelerates the process of executing of the order through the chain waiter-station-kitchen or bar. As a result the waiter don't lose any time in this important but time-taking operations, and he will be able to concentrate its attention and time for the attending of the clients.

How much time is necessary to registrate a guest at the reception?

If you use the function “Fast accommodation” the registration in the system will take seconds to pass.

Nowadays everywhere can be seen club cards - in shops, restaurants, fuel stations. Does your company support cards?

As an additional module for the programme R - Keeper we offer the system Pay-Cards, which provide many solutions for keeping of the permanent and attracting of new clients.

Where can I order special clients cards to be produced for my restaurant?

We can provide this service and also we can together create your visual card design.
